सूरा-अद-दुख़ान | Surah 44

सूरा-अद-दुख़ान

| मक्का कालीन | आयत 59 | 

धुँवा

अल्लाह के नाम से जो बहुत मेहरबान, रहम करने वाला है हा-मीम| (1) 

कसम है वाजेह किताब की। (2)

 बेशक हम ने उसे एक मुबारक रात (लैलतल क़द) में नाज़िल किया, बेशक हम ही हैं डराने वाले| (3) 

उस (रात) में फैसल किया जाता है हर अमर हिकम्त वाला। (4) 

हुक्म हो कर हमारे पास से | बेशक हम ही हैं (रसूल) भेजने वाले| (5) 

रहमत आप (स) के रब की तरफ़ से, बेशक वही है सुनने वाला जानने वाला। (6) 

रब है आस्मानों का और ज़मीन का और जो उन के दरमियान है, अगर तुम हो यकीन करने वाले| (7) 

उस के सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं, वही जान डालता है, वही जान निकालता है, और (वही) रब है तुम्हारा और तुम्हारे पहले बाप दादा का| (8) 

बल्कि वह शक में पड़े खेलते हैं। (9) 

तो तुम उस दिन का इन्तिजार करो कि आस्मान ज़ाहिर धुओं लाएगा, (10) 

और ढांप लेगा (छा जाएगा) लोगों पर, यह है दर्दनाक अजाब। (11) 

(अब वह कहेंगे) ऐ हमारे रब! हम से अज़ाब दूर कर दे, बेशक हम ईमान ले आएंगे। (12) 

उन को नसीहत कहां याद आएगी? उन के पास तो खोल खोल कर बयान करने वाला रसूल आ चुका है। (13) 

फिर वह उस से फिर गए और कहने लगेः (यह तो) सिखाया हुआ दीवाना है। (14) 

बेशक हम थोड़ा अजाब खोलने वाले हैं (मगर) तुम बेशक फिर बागियाना हालत पर लौट आने वाले हो। (15) 

जिस दिन हम सख्त पकड़ पकड़ेंगे| बेशक हम इन्तिकाम लेने वाले हैं। (16)

और हम उन से पहले कौमे फ़िरऔन को आजमा चुके हैं, और उन के पास एक आली कद्र रसूल आया। (17) 

कि अल्लाह के बन्दों को मेरे हवाले कर दो, बेशक मैं तुम्हारे लिए एक रसूल अमीन हूँ। (18) 

और यह कि तुम अल्लाह के मुकाबिल सरकशी न करो, बेशक मैं तुम्हारे पास वाजेह दलील के साथ आया हूँ। (19)

और बेशक मैं पनाह लेता हूँ अपने रब की और तुम्हारे रब की (उस से) कि तुम मुझे संगसार कर दो। (20) 

और अगर तुम मुझ पर ईमान नहीं लाते तो मुझ से एक किनारे हो जाओ। (21) 

तो उस ने अपने रब से दुआ की कि यह मुशिम लोग हैं। (22) 

(इरशादे इलाही हुआ) तो तुम मेरे बन्दों को ले जाओ रातों रात, बेशक तुम्हारा पीछा किया जाएगा। (23) 

और छोड़ जाओ दर्या ठहरा (खुला) हुआ, बेशक वह एक लशकर है डूबने वाले| (24) 

और वह छोड़ गए कितने ही बागात, और चश्मे, (25) 

और खेतियां, और नफ़ीस मकान, (26) 

और नेमतें, जिन में वह मज़े उड़ाते थे। (27) 

उसी तरह (हुआ उन का अन्जाम), और हम ने दूसरी कौम को उन का वारिस बनाया। (28) 

सो उन पर आस्मान और जमीन न रोए और वह न हुए ढील दिए गए (लोगों में)1 (29)

और तहकीक हम ने बनी इस्राईल को जिल्लत वाले अजाब से नजात दी, (30) 

(यानी) फ़िरऔन से, बेशक वह हद से बढ़ जाने वालों में से सरकश था। (31) 

और अलबत्ता हम ने उन्हें तमाम जहान वालों पर दानिस्ता पसंद किया। (32)

और हम ने उन्हें खुली निशानियां दीं, जिन में खुली आजमाइश थी। (33) 

बेशक यह लोग कहते हैं, (34) 

यह हमारा मरना तो सिर्फ एक ही बार है और हम दोबारा उठाए जाने वाले नहीं। (35) 

अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो हमारे बाप दादा को ले आओ। (36) 

क्या वह बेहतर है या तुब्बा की कौम? और जो लोग उन से कब्ल थे? हम ने उन्हें हलाक किया, बेशक वह मुमि लोग थे। (37) 

और हम ने आस्मानों और जमीन को और जो कुछ उन के दरमियान है खेलते हुए (अबस खेल कूद के लिए) नहीं पैदा किया। (38) 

हम ने उन्हें नहीं पैदा किया मगर हक़ के साथ, लेकिन उन में से अक्सर नहीं जानते। (39) 

बेशक फैसले का दिन (रोजे कियामत) उन सब का वक्ते मुकर्रर (मीआद) है। (40) 

जिस दिन काम न आएगा कोई साथी कुछ भी किसी साथी के, और न वह मदद किए जाएंगे। (41) 

मगर जिस पर अल्लाह ने रम किया, बेशक वही है गालिब रह्म करने वाला। (42) 

बेशक थोहर का दरख्त । (43) 

गुनाहगारों का खाना है। (44) 

(वह) पेटों में पिघले हुए तांबे की तरह खौलता रहेगा। (45) 

जैसे खौलता हुआ गर्म पानी। (46) 

उसे पकड़ लो, फिर उसे जहन्नम के बीचों बीच तक खींचो। (47) 

फिर उस के सर के ऊपर डाली खौलते हुए पानी के अज़ाब से। (48) 

चख, बेशक जोर आवर, इज्जत वाला है तू। (49) 

बेशक यह है वह जिस में तुम शक करते थे(50) 

बेशक मुत्तकी अमन के मुकाम में होंगे। (51) 

बागात और चश्मों में। (52) 

पहने हुए बारीक और दबीज़ रेशम के कपड़े एक दूसरे के आमने सामने (बैठे होंगे)। (53) 

उसी तरह हम खूबरू बड़ी बड़ी आँखों वालियों से उन के जोड़े बना देंगे| (54) 

वह मांगेंगे उस में इत्मीनान से हर किस्म का मेवा। (55) 

वह पहली मौत के सिवा वहाँ (फिर) मौत का जाइका न चखेंगे, और अल्लाह ने उन्हें जहन्नम के अजाब से बचा लिया। (56) 

तुम्हारे रब का फज्ल, यही है बड़ी कामयाबी। (57) 

बेशक हम ने इस (कुरआन) को आसान कर दिया है आप की जबान में ताकि वह नसीहत पकड़ें। (58) 

पर आप (स) इन्तिज़ार करें, बेशक वह भी मुन्तज़िर हैं। (59)

44. SMOKE

(ad-Dukhan)

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

1. Ha, Meem.

2. By the Enlightening Scripture.

3. We have revealed it on a Blessed Night—We have warned.

4. In it is distinguished every wise command. 

5. A decree from Us. We have been sending messages.

6. As mercy from your Lord. He is the Hearer, the Knower.

7. Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you know for sure.

8. There is no god but He. He gives life and causes death—your Lord and Lord of your ancestors.

9. Yet they play around in doubt.

10. So watch out for the Day when the sky produces a visible smoke.

11. Enveloping mankind; this is a painful punishment.

12. “Our Lord, lift the torment from us, we are believers.”

13. But how can they be reminded? An enlightening messenger has already come to them.

14. But they turned away from him, and said, “Educated, but crazy!”

15. We will ease the punishment a little, but you will revert.

16. The Day when We launch the Great Assault—We will avenge.

17. Before them We tested the people of Pharaoh; a noble messenger came to them.

18. Saying, “Hand over God’s servants to me. I am an honest messenger to you.”

19. And, “Do not exalt yourselves above God. I come to you with clear authority.

20. I have taken refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me.

21. But if you do not believe in me, keep away from me.”

22. He appealed to his Lord: “These are a sinful people.”

23. “Set out with My servants by night— you will be followed.

24. And cross the sea quickly; they are an army to be drowned.”

25. How many gardens and fountains did they leave behind?

26. And plantations, and splendid buildings.

27. And comforts they used to enjoy.

28. So it was; and We passed it on to another people.

29. Neither heaven nor earth wept over them, nor were they reprieved.

30. And We delivered the Children of Israel from the humiliating persecution.

31. From Pharaoh. He was a transgressing tyrant.

32. And We chose them knowingly over all other people.

33. And We gave them many signs, in which was an obvious test.

34. These people say.

35. “There is nothing but our first death, and we will not be resurrected. 36. Bring back our ancestors, if you are truthful.” 

37. Are they better, or the people of Tubba and those before them? We annihilated them. They were evildoers.

38. We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them to play.

39. We created them only for a specific purpose, but most of them do not know.

40. The Day of Sorting Out is the appointed time for them all.

41. The Day when no friend will avail a friend in any way, and they will not be helped.

42. Except for him upon whom God has mercy. He is the Mighty, the Merciful.

43. The Tree of Bitterness.

44. The food of the sinner.

45. Like molten lead; boiling inside the bellies.

46. Like the boiling of seething water.

47. Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell!

48. Then pour over his head the suffering of the Inferno!

49. Taste! You who were powerful and noble.

50. This is what you used to doubt.

51. As for the righteous, they will be in a secure place.

52. Amidst gardens and springs.

53. Dressed in silk and brocade, facing one another.

54. So it is, and We will wed them to lovely companions.

55. They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security.

56. Therein they will not taste death, beyond the first death; and He will protect them from the torment of Hell.

57. A favor from your Lord. That is the supreme salvation.

58. We have made it easy in your language, so that they may remember.

59. So wait and watch. They too are waiting and watching.
