(शोला)

अल्लाह के नाम से जो बहुत मेहरबान, रहम करने वाला है|

अबू लहब के दोनों हाथ टूट गए और वह हलाक हुआ। (1)

उस के काम न आया उस का माल और जो उस ने कमाया। (2)

अनकरीब दाखिल होगा शोले मारती हुई आग में। (3)

और उस की बीवी लादने वाली ईंधन, (4)

उस की गर्दन में खजूर की छाल की रस्सी होगी। (5)

(al-Masad)

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

1. Condemned are the hands of Abee Lahab, and he is condemned.

2. His wealth did not avail him, nor did what he acquired.

3. He will burn in a Flaming Fire.

4. And his wife—the firewood carrier.

5. Around her neck is a rope of thorns.
